Wolfgang Kaufman, LL.B
Chairman
Wolfgang Kaufmann is a senior trial lawyer and arbitrator. Since joining Daoust Vukovich in 1997. Wolfgang’s practice has focused on litigation and arbitration relating to commercial leasing, real estate, franchising, construction liens, and bankruptcy re-organizations.
Wolfgang has extensive experience before the courts, conducting trials or arguing motions, applications, and appeals. He has acted on many legal matters which have been reported in legal periodicals as having an impact on the law.
A member of the Ontario Bar since 1987, Wolfgang received his bachelor of laws, cum laude, from the University of Ottawa, (1985) and was awarded the Karam-Greenspon award for “Outstanding Contribution to Student Legal Aid”. His education is rounded out by a Master of Arts from the University of Toronto. Department of Political Economy (1978), and a Bachelor of Arts, York University.

Rashid Hasan has been President/CEO of more than twenty companies in the fields of Exploration and Mining of Gold and Copper, Telecom, Infrastructure Development, Travel and Tourism, Education, International Trade, Media, Music and Fashion Industries for the last forty years. His devotion to his birth country Pakistan and to the adopted country Canada encouraged him to be part of many Team Canada business delegations to promote business, trade, exploration, and mining business between the two countries. Former CEO, NASDAQ broadband communications firm. Twenty five years experience in senior management, development, administration and financing public companies through positions with merchant banks, securities dealers, venture capital, hedge funds and commercial real estate investment/ development. Derek has experience working in Pakistan since 2006.
